About ME the Artist

       I am a professional artist currently living and working in New Orleans and sometimes Colorado. I was born into a military family and had the privilege of being raised all over the United States. I spent most of that time in Nevada, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, California, Oregon, Colorado, and recently New Orleans, Louisiana. I have always had a passion for the arts growing up, with an artistic Mother as a role model, but it wasn’t until my early 20s I ultimately realized my happy spot is with a paintbrush, pencil, computer, or camera in my hand. Therefore, I readily achieved a BA degree at CSUN Northridge.  I am now a professional oil painter, illustrator, portrait artist, and dabble a bit in graphic design & photography too. I love ALL artistic projects. The creative process is both exhilarating and painful at the same time, but as they say nothing worth doing is ever easy and I am addicted to challenging myself in new ways and growing as an Artist and a person. There is always more to learn and refine.

       I have no shortage of other interests as well. I began as a licensed cosmetologist right after high school; everything is a form of Art. I also enjoy cooking, interior decorating/design, refurbishing furniture, hiking/camping, photography, and using my artistic pursuits to document moments, people, and places I have visited. I greatly value spending quality time with my friends and family, and playing a mean game of billiards.

      Producing art is a passion I cannot resist, I must create. So let’s create something together!
